Melaleuca "claret tops"

variety of tea-tree "claret tops" is offered for the first time with us. New young shoots are colored in burgundy. Requires full sun to partial shade. The temperature in winter less (may be long to zero). Evergreen. Watering during the main rich vegetation in winter very little in relation to temperature. Acidic substrate (a common flower soil with an admixture of peat), well drained. The fertilizer is preferable to acid-plants (such as azaleas and rhododendrons). Shaping is possible at any time.
very important in terms of plant medicine. Tea tree oil is very widespread. Name of oil is misleading, kajeput has nothing to do with tea tree. Melaleuca Rod has many members with virtually the same claims to grow. It is related with eucalyptus.
We supply plants viz. Photo.
